The highest peak in the Philippines at 2,954 meters above sea level, Mt. Apo is a dormant stratovolcano straddling the provinces of Davao del Sur and Cotabato. It is home to the critically endangered Philippine Eagle and features diverse ecosystems from tropical rainforest to mossy forest. The summit trek typically takes 2-3 days.
