Flood Monitoring FAQs

Use the ProjectLIGTAS live flood monitoring map above. The map shows real-time water levels from monitoring stations across the Philippines, color-coded by alert level. You can also check PAGASA flood advisories and barangay-level flood alerts on this page.

The dashboard above shows live flood alert levels for Metro Manila and nearby provinces. Alert levels follow the PAGASA and NDRRMC classification: Normal, Advisory, Watch, and Warning. Check the monitoring stations section for the most current status.

ProjectLIGTAS integrates data from PAGASA (Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration) flood forecasting and warning systems, dam and water level monitoring stations, and UP NOAH flood risk data. Data is updated every 15 minutes.

When flood levels reach Warning stage: (1) Prepare your go-bag and evacuation documents. (2) Move valuables to higher floors. (3) Monitor PAGASA and your local DRRMO for evacuation orders. (4) Know your nearest evacuation center. (5) If ordered to evacuate, leave immediately — do not wait for water to reach your door.

Yes. The ProjectLIGTAS flood monitoring dashboard is completely free for all Filipino citizens. No registration or app install is required — just open this page on any device with an internet connection.
