An underwater cemetery off the coast of Camiguin Island, submerged when the Vulcan Daan volcano erupted in 1871, causing the old town and its cemetery to sink below sea level. A large white cross marks the site just offshore, serving as both a memorial and a popular snorkeling spot. The sunken tombstones and volcanic rocks beneath the surface create an eerie but fascinating dive site.
