Often called the Eighth Wonder of the World, these 2,000-year-old terraces were hand-carved into the mountains of Ifugao by the ancestors of the indigenous Ifugao people. The terraces are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and remain actively cultivated today. They rise to an elevation of 1,500 meters and would stretch halfway around the globe if laid end to end.
