The ornate four-pillar Friendship Arch at the entrance to Binondo serves as the gateway to the world's oldest Chinatown. The arch was built as a symbol of Filipino-Chinese friendship and marks the start of Ongpin Street. The area is best explored on foot during a food crawl, sampling siopao, lumpia, and fresh pancit.
