Commuter Tips

Tips for Your Daily LRT Commute

Use a Beep Card

Avoid the ticket queue by loading a Beep stored value card. It works on LRT-1, LRT-2, and MRT-3. Load at any station.

Travel Off-Peak

Beat the crowd by boarding before 6:00 AM or after 9:30 AM in the morning, and before 4:30 PM or after 8:00 PM in the evening.

Check Live Status First

Use the ProjectLIGTAS live train tracker before heading to the station. Check if there are delays or service suspensions on your line.

Stand by the Doors

Position yourself near the door markers on the platform. This speeds up boarding and helps you exit at crowded stations faster.

Know Your Exit

Familiarize yourself with the exit numbers at your destination station. LRT stations have multiple exits — knowing the right one saves time.

PWD & Priority Lane

LRT stations have designated priority lanes for senior citizens, PWDs, and pregnant women. Use the correct lane to respect fellow commuters.
