Known as the City of Majestic Waterfalls, Iligan in Lanao del Norte boasts over 23 waterfalls within its city limits. Beyond Maria Cristina Falls, Tinago Falls (Hidden Falls) is particularly spectacular, requiring a descent of over 300 steps to reach a cave-like grotto where the falls cascade into an emerald pool. Mimbalut Falls and Dodiongan Falls are other must-visit cascades.
